Drive the brand forward at one of Durban's leading automotive dealerships. We are looking for a hands-on, organised, and data-driven Marketing Manager to lead our dealership events and act as the vital link between the showroom floor and our marketing agency. This role is all about bringing the brand to life in the community and using real dealership insight to sharpen our marketing and improve lead quality. Key Responsibilities
Plan, organise, and manage dealership events and activations that build brand awareness and engage the local community.
Capture and analyse dealership-side data such as walk-ins, enquiries, test drives, and lead outcomes, and relay clear, structured insights back to the marketing agency to improve lead quality and campaign performance.
Ensure all OEM (manufacturer) marketing KPIs and co-op requirements are met, including the recovery of available co-op marketing funds.
Serve as the dealership's day-to-day point of contact for the marketing agency, providing local market insight and feedback to guide their campaigns and ad spend.
Build and maintain local partnerships, sponsorships, and community relationships that drive footfall and brand presence.
Oversee showroom and forecourt branding, signage, and displays to ensure a consistent, on-brand customer experience.
Coordinate with the sales and aftersales teams so they are aware of active campaigns and leads are followed up effectively.
Manage marketing campaigns to the dealership's existing customer database, such as service, trade-in, and repeat-purchase initiatives.
Report marketing performance and lead-quality trends to dealership management.
Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years' marketing experience, ideally within the automotive or retail sector.
Proven track record planning and delivering successful events.
Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience in lead tracking and performance reporting.
Confident working alongside an external marketing agency and across internal teams.
Highly organised, with excellent communication and project management skills.
A valid driver's licence.
