Position: Experienced Service Advisor

Key Responsibilities

• Receive customers on arrival, conduct thorough vehicle check-ins, and accurately capture job cards.

• Translate customer concerns into clear technical instructions for the workshop and keep customers informed throughout the repair.

• Prepare quotations, obtain authorisation, and manage warranty, service plan, and maintenance plan claims correctly.

• Upsell additional service work, parts, and accessories where genuinely required.

• Manage workshop loading and booking schedules to maximise technician productivity and throughput.

• Drive customer satisfaction index (CSI) scores through proactive follow-up and same-day resolution of complaints.

• Maintain accurate records on the dealer management system and ensure invoicing is completed correctly.

Requirements

• Minimum two years' experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive workshop or dealership environment.

• Solid understanding of vehicle service intervals, warranty procedures, and service plan terms.

• Proven track record of achieving CSI, revenue, and hours-sold targets.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical work in plain language.

• Ability to stay calm and organised in a high-volume workshop.

• Computer literate with DMS experience.

• Grade 12 certificate and a valid driver's licence required.

• GWM or Haval product experience advantageous but not essential.
